Post Oak Savanna vegetational area. Tame pasture with scattered woodlands. Navasota River bottoms at ca. 73 m (240 ft) elevation.

Peach Creek Road, southeast of College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA.

A beautiful capture Stanley. I like the colour on the crown, breast and mantle, which is variously described as "orange" or "buff" but isn't quite either. Top quality work.
