Cedar Waxwing
Some of these birds, several of them immatures, came by to sample Mountain Ash berries. I often see them in the spring when they come for our Serviceberries. Then they disappear till the fall when Mountain Ash berries start to ripen. They sampled a few, then left. We haven't had a hard frost yet and that seems to be the trigger for these and other birds to come and eat the berries in earnest. I think the frost helps ripen the berries. Right now they have a few and it's not to their liking yet.
