Brilliantly caught, Mali - not a bird I ever managed in the UK.

... at least I've now seen one of these, so you're not longer gripping me off with them. Just need to get a picture LOL.

Re Magpies. They're not that common in most parts of Scotland. Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen have them and they've recently started to colonise in Dundee but still uncommon enough there for people to mention them - there's actually [COLOR="Blue"]a thread[/COLOR] would you believe!!

Just occasionally I come across one in the countryside round here, but haven't yet had one in the town.

Brilliant bird and a fantastic picture of this mega cutie Mali. I could mistake this for a wren very easily with its colaration and cocked tail (lol). I bet it is a skulker just like most wrens are too. Fantastic work!!!!!
