Chaffinch

A male Chaffinch eating sunflower seeds in the snow at my feeding station.Very colourful birds and often ignored by some photographers.I think they are great subjects.

Me too Mike,i was photographing some today.Aswell as being very colourful they always seem to strike a pose,this is a cracker mate!!
 
How can somebody ignore Chaffinches??? :eek!: They must be blind to do so!!! I'm always after there beauties looking for the shot of my dreams! :-O

A lovely snowy scene. I love the reflected light you get when there's snow on the ground.
