Coming from a complete editing novice I would say you have done pretty well. His colours look fairly natural to me, a bit more contrast between the pink breast and grey head would be nice. Are those berries really that pink?

You did a very nice job on this lovely finch Delia. If I had it in PS I'd only cut down the exposure setting it so the bird was expose darker and not worry about the whole image. tfs it Gal!!
