Which RSPB reserve was it, I think there's a few in Kent?

it was RSPB Dungeness.
Thanks Sailor. I've been there - many years ago now. One time we were out in the middle somewhere when it started to rain.... and it came down in stair rods. Making a hurried return to the car park we found a large bush that we could get inside. So sheltered there for a bit, till it started dripping on us LOL.

Three rather soggy people eventually got back to the car!!!
