Chattitude (Saxicola torquata)

A Stonechat standing her ground on a gate at Strumpshaw Fen. A photo from a couple of weeks ago. We have grey skies and driving snow outside at the moment and the promise of more to come. It looks as if I won't be getting any new photos this week. Ron

Love this composition, very nice post Ron :t::t: And I don't mind you posting 'older' pics, if you can't get new ones this week ...

I would have loved to have this light yesterday, when I see my pair of Stoneys, another sweet take Ron. Not sure I'd want to swap weather with you today mate, I will be grateful for our overcast skies.

Nothing wrong about "exhuming" oldies, Ron... in fact, I have so little oportunities to go out snapping that all my posts are oldies! ;) Nice and different setting and colours in the BG, it's lovely!!! :t: :t: :t:
