Cherry defender (Turdus viscivorus)

Had this guy pop into the garden the other day - never had one before! It was very obliging and let me take a lot of pictures with my new lens as it fed on my wild cherry tree.

Cheers marise and digiscoper - i'll leave the cherries to the birds for now - i've had some bullfinches on them recently - and besides, i don't like cherries:-O!
