Chestnut-backed Antbird
Chestnut-backed Antbird (Myrmeciza exsul subsp. maculifer) Sexes similar. Umbrellabird Lodge in Buenaventura Reserve, west of Pias, El Oro Province, Ecuador. Western slope of the Andes; tropical cloud forest at ca. 800 m (2,625 ft) elevation. My wife and I will be in Costa Rica for a couple of weeks so this will be my last post until we get back. Cheers!
