Chestnut in the green
The first birds I managed to photograph round the lake was a pair of Chestnut Teal.

The males are a beautiful rich chestnut, aren't they.

What a striking teal species. I love that chestnut color with the metallic green on its head. Fabulous duck and picture D! TFS!
