I put out a couple cracked open walnuts, and the chickadees found them irrisistable. They just love walnuts! They were taking turns attacking them, and that's when I got the idea to try to catch them winging in. Of course as soon as I started trying it got heavily overcast and gloomy, so the light sucked and since the flash in my camera doesn't work, I had to go to a high iso. Kind of grainy but still a fun pic.
It's been years since I've seen that much snow but I do remember it's very hard to get a good image. You did catch the wings well and got a fine image. Now you need to get more walnuts for more practice-they're expensive here!
