this magnificent eagle had just stolen a scrawny chicken from the Masai village; more of a snack than proper lunch.
Not called 'bellicosus' for nothing....

fantastic photo of this powerful eagle, Max, superb pose and details, top notch, many tfs!!!
I still remember my first martial eagle, 40 years ago in Zambia, it flew out of a bush only 10 meters or so from where we stood, one of those magic moments. Thanks for bringing back this great memory!

As beautiful and majestic as this eagle is, I am sure it does not endear itself to the villagers (lol). Awesome capture and picture of this impressive raptor. TFS Max!
