I do struggle rather with CC's and WW's and am only sure if I hear them call. But I didn't think WW's were here in the winter, whereas Chiffchaffs are. Though I suppose you may get some down south.

I'll sit on the fence;)

The Chiffchaff has a black stripe through his eye as well as the yellow one.

As I had just taken nearly 200 shots of a blackcap I thought it was the
female but now I'm not so sure

I think the feet are the wrong colour for a WW maybe a more expert member can help?

We Think Its A Chiffchaff Chocky, You Can See Its Got Black Legs, Willow Warblers Legs Our Pale,They Don't Over Winter Hope This Helps, Tfs!!!!!!!!

I was looking at the feet. Ha ha. I didn't think it was a WW as we don't get that many down here any how.
