Barrier Island, Gulf Prairies and Marshes vegetational area. Disturbed mesquite woodland with openings at ca. 2 m (6.6 ft) elevation.

South Padre Island in the town of South Padre Island, Sheepshead, Cameron County, Texas, USA.

what a handsome sparrow and the detail is superb . makes all the difference having that little red cap. he really stands out against the lovely green background Stanley .
