Christmas present
Christmas eve found us back at the Mause feeders. Couldn't believe my eyes when this Eurasian Magpie called in for his dinner!

It had been nearly a year since we'd caught sight of one there (back in February!). What a lovely Christmas present eh! They're still such a rarity here.
