Chubb's Cisticola

The Chubb's Cisticola (Cisticola chubbi) is a small bird species belonging to the Cisticolidae family. It is typically found in parts of Central and East Africa, including countries like Uganda, Rwanda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. This bird prefers habitats such as montane forests and forest edges, often at higher elevations.

Chubb's Cisticola has a relatively plain appearance, with brownish or grayish plumage that helps it blend into its environment. Like other cisticolas, it is more often heard than seen, producing distinctive, repetitive calls. Its behavior includes flitting through undergrowth and low shrubs in search of insects, which make up the majority of its diet.
