Cinnamon Teal
This is a female. Very different from the striking male, female Cinnamon Teal are similar to female Blue-winged Teal but distinguishable with care by their darker face and longer more spatulate bill as seen here. Both have a pale broken eyering and a pale area near the base of the bill. Both also have powder blue upperwing coverts and a green speculum which are usually concealed when swimming but visible in flight or when they stretch their wings.

Very attractive females these Joe.

You've a fabulous picture of her too, and a nice touch with the lovely reflection too. Thanks my friend.
