Cirl Bunting - lifer - male (Emberiza cirlus)

Cirl Bunting - lifer - male. The weather was it's norrmal rubbish but I managed to get out and capture a lifer today, in the rain. Pics not that good but I will return.
Habitat

Three beauties Keith, these really are handsome birds...Glad you made it to Broadsands mate. I hope you took some "Trill", as it looks like someones been feeding em sunflower seeds, I bet that peed the locals off, they like em to stick to Trill. Glad you didn't have to walk back up that hill, that just about killed me last time I went.

I think it is fantastic. Beautiful setting,and a very clear photo of the Bunting.
A lifer for me usually ends up a blurred mess because I shake with excitement.
