Close To Cover (Prunella modularis)

Recently I managed to get a series of interesting photo's of a Dunnock perched and stretching its neck forward. It was alert and looking at something in front of it. It was fascinating to watch before the behaviour stopped and it returned to the usual Dunnock pose.
