Clumsy Grasshopper Warbler

Clumsy Grasshopper Warbler

Normally I'd bin a shot like this but given that its an ace skulker ... this Grasshopper Warbler slipped as it tried to perch - it looks very clumsy!
Habitat
Farm - scrub
Location
Sligo, Ireland
Date taken
15/6/2008
Equipment used
40D + 100-400
I think thats a really good photo. The out-of-focus rear and blurred leg and foot give a nice sense of motion - I can imagine quite clearly the bird slipping on that fence wire!

Really glad you posted it and didn't bin it.

Maybe a wee dram too much of that fine Irish Whiskey for the little fellow. Definitely not one for the bin deco

LOL! :'D Love it, it is priceless, an unique capture of a Warbler with failing perching-skills!!! To bin this is out of the question!!! :t: :t: :t:
