Clusia sp.: Clusiaceae. This tree was growing at the base of a small un-named waterfall between Cabaas Copalinga and the Bambusaro entrance to Podocarpus National Park, Bambuscaro entrance, Zamora-Chinchipe Province, Ecuador. Submontane rainforest on the slopes above Ro Bambuscaro at ca. 914 m (3,000 ft) elevation.

Quite a pretty tree flower, Stanley. Tree flowers tend to get neglected by some photographers, which is a shame, as they can be quite colourful

a beauty of a detailed capture stanley.i do love plants and cant find much info on this beauty other than it has fruit as well and not unlike the fig tree.many tfs.all the best margaret.
