Coalie (Parus ater)

First shots taken at the Lemsford Springs feeding station. Hopefully it will bring in some good birds over the coming months and the light will be a little brighter than today. Got a squirrel that loves chilli too!

Ringed coalie, 1st time I seen one like that. I should get a net for my garden - got 6-8 regular coalies in my garden. Strangely, this is the most common bird in my garden apart from the odd moment when the sparrows show up.

Nice image btw.

Great exposure on this Paul, the cheek patches can be a nightmare!

PS,hang your feeders with long wire to keep the Squirrels off them.
