Cocoa Woodcreeper (Xiphorhynchus susurrans subsp. costaricensis) Bosque del Ro Tigre Lodge, Osa Peninsula, Puntarenas Province, Costa Rica. About 1 km east of the town Dos Brazos de Ro Tigre. Pacific secondary rain forest at ca. 130 m (427 ft) elevation.

This will be my last post for a couple of weeks. My wife and I are off to Brazil.. I will miss everyone's fabulous posts!!!!

That bill looks quite menacing but be pretty useful to extract cocoa! Lol. Brilliant close up shot of chocolate eating beauty, Stanley!! tfs.
 
Another new bird for me Stanley and it really is superb. The detail ls amazing and such a great pose too.
