Cocoi Heron (Ardea cocoi)

In the afternoon of our cruise stop at Santarem, we went on a boat cruise into Maika Lake and the flooded forests on the south side of the Amazon River. Very interesting and lots of birds - 33 species, which included 12 lifers!
