I think we are getting the same winter you are (N.S.). I am always amazed in the morning when they return after a frigid night, that the poor little things haven't frozen solid!!! I have a mixture of suet, peanut butter, and hulled sunflower seeds that I fill cracks, crevices, and knotoles in the trees in front of my house with. They are ravenous at first light, and in desperate need as we are currently under a DEEP blanket of snow here. They really seem to enjoy this, as does the woodpeckers, jays, etc.! I think your chickadees are in a similar predicament! They're lucky to have you as a freind!!! Lovely shot of this cold little cutie!

He really seems 'chilled' out by the col and not at all amused with it. Great expression and capture of this cutie, Rose!! tfs.

More coming tonight,Teto. Bill I can't get to the backyard good thing I put the seeds out before the snow got here.
