Collared Pratincole

Collared Pratincole

Taken a couple of weeks back, on an early summer holiday to sunny Mallorca and very hot and sunny it turned out to be!

New bird for me to see, is the Collared Pratincole, though a bit like my first view of a Stone Curlew last year, was quite a way off and looking like a little brown lump :) This pic has therefore been heavily cropped to see what it looked like, so won't be the best shot of a Pratincole you will ever see :) - Mike

What a beautiful bird... I'd love to see one!!!!

To get a picture of a Lifer is a bonus Mike - you've done that and a great picture you got too.

Very well done lad.

Great bird and I'd be pleased with any image I take ... well done
