Cor!!! It looks wonderful that picture David. One of the best I've seen of that species.

Now you have me worried lad, as I'm thinking of getting that camera for an upcoming trip to Oz... thought people thought it was a good choice?

There is a discussion on here about the P900

I was not satified with the IQ especially compared to the Leica 100-400 but the latter is $$$

We always carry 2 MFT camera's and a small range of lenses. The Lumix 45-175 X series is a must have for intermediate distance....simply amazing IQ in good light.

I've been very satisfied with the durability of the Lumix MFT cameras especially as it endures going with me on the motorcycle

The P900 developed some sort of internal issue and it was a chore to get it fixed -- I sold it soon after.

Oh my goodness, what a spectacular close-up of this beautiful Jacana species. Fabulous work David! TFS!

Thanks - now that's what I bought the P900 for was the incredible range - even beyond my Leica 400 ( 800 equiv ) but wanted better backup and durability...did not seem to like the heat and wet in tropical Australia although the image blotches that developed over a few weeks went away after my return to North America and the company could find nothing wrong. Happy new owner got a deal.
