Come to Pappa.
This has been a very good year for all the different birds that visit my feeder on a regular basis. My constant feeding has paid off with so many young, in particular the Woodpeckers and Hawfinch. Whilst putting out fresh food this morning one of the young woodpeckers landed on my shoulder. I don,t know who jumped the highest me or the Woodpecker. Fantastic.

Super capture snapped at the right time. Now tell the rest of the story-you did have your camo outfit on when it landed on your shoulder didn't you? lol Poor birds, imagine what they must think when they see you walking around.lol An exciting time for you, I'm just jealous.

What a treat to have a woodpecker land on your shoulder. An experience I would not mind having (lol). Stunning action and behavior picture with this youngster having a landing lesson. Three exquisite posts John!!!!
