Green Woodpecker (Picus viridis)

I was out yesterday trying to get some more shots of a barn owl that i had taken the previous morning. Just packed up after no sighting of the owl and then spotted this Woodpecker feeding on the ground. I was chuffed, my first Woodpecker.
