Here we are again,back home in Haverigg. (Hirundo rustica)

Are not these little birds just incredible?.All the way from Africa,here to Haverigg,each year,to exactly the same nesting areas,amazing for such small birds.
This was one of a pr,who were having a wash and brush up perched on the morring boat ropes in our local river.Lots of Swallows and House Martins flying around feeding.Several have been around for a couple of weeks,but yesterday,there seemed to have been a huge influx(maybe were held up in immigration!!!!)
