Male Red-backed Shrike (Lanius collurio)

This stunning Red-backed Shrike stopped off for a day in Essex, and showed extremely well! It was very obliging, perching openly for shots like this, before finally giving me the shot I was after by perching on top of the gorse... after 3 hours wait!
