Tasty Frog
This is another in the series of Raven photos that I started posting the other day. After munching on the frog for about a minute, the Raven decided that he needed to wash the frog. He moved a few feet down and proceeded to dunk the frog in the birdbath. He then would eat a little, dunk the frog again and continue until the frog was gone.

Lol, it just couldn't quite get rid of that frog taste no matter how hard it tried. Great observation and picture of this frog dunking raven! Fabulous Lisa!!!!!!

Great behaviour capture, Lisa. I see this behaviour from Crows, but not with Frogs ;) They often wash Monkey Nuts and soak bread; quite interesting really

Thanks for sharing this image and your observations on Raven-behavior, Lisa ... House crows do the same thing at water-bowl on my Balcony ... with hard food they bring ... must be a kind of fire-less cooking process they have learned ... on occasions they even drop the food into water for longer periods and come back and eat it later ...

That must have been so cool to watch while it was going on. I wonder if the water makes it easy to swallow? A great moment to capture Lisa.
