One eyed lesser redpoll - lifer (Carduelis cabaret)

One eyed lesser redpoll - lifer. It's not a lifer cos it's only got one eye but because I've never captured a redpoll before. I think that it has a tick just to the left below the beak. It seemed healthy enough.

Habitat
They breed in woodland, but also visit gardens. Lesser redpolls can be seen dangling from tiny twigs in birch and alder trees, or perhaps on shrub stems. This is a widespread breeding species in Scotland, northern and eastern England and Wales. It is less

Lol, I would go with it was napping in the sunshine. Gorgeous colors and detail with a brilliant background. Congratulations on the new tick, the bird not the real tick (lol). Exceptional PS!!!
