Looking at this beautiful image, I get the feeling that you were lower than this Whimbrel.

Was this a belly shot? If so, a very fine capture.
 
This was not a belly shot. It appears to have been shot from a low position because it was shot from a great distance away using telephoto on tripod, so the angle of elevation was very small. I have a bad hand tremor, and must use a tripod for all my shots.
