Look what I found! (Dendrocopos kizuki)

Japanese Pygmy Woodpecker
Posted one of these yesterday, but here's another one, different bird, same tree, that pecked and pecked and pecked at this nut until he pulled out this tasty looking worm. You can see the hole left behind. How did he know that worm was in that nut? ... Ma Nature never ceases to amaze!
