Sounds like their numbers are going up? That's a good thing and this is a beautiful closeup of this Sandpiper glide!
 
I have seen more this year than I have the past three years combined.i've had two in the Bronx already,and there considered rare for the boro.
 
I like the low angle of this shot; nicely posed and detailed.
