Red-shouldered Hawk (Buteo lineatus lineatus) Perched in a green ash. Notice the feathers below its left foot. That is all that remains of a yellow-rumped warbler that it caught in flight. It ate feathers, bill, feet, bones, etc all within three minutes.
Habitat
Open woodland adjacent to an un-named creek that runs through the park at ca. 88 m (289 ft) elevation.

Camelot Park, Bryan, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
