Habitat
On the border of the Edwards Plateau and Cross Timbers and Prairies vegetation areas, Pond 2 at 132 m (433 ft) elevation.
Location
Hornsby Bend Bird Observatory which includes the sewage ponds of Hornsby Bend Biosolids Management Plant, southeast of Austin, southeast Travis County, Texas, USA.

This is one awesome image with the Duck showing only it's head. It is really quite submerged and a great moment to capture Stanley!
