Great Blue Heron, perhaps a teen-ager. (Ardea herodias)

I studied my subject here in different sets of pictures and I came to the conclusion this is a Juvenile Great Blue Heron. The first one I have ever seen. He's too big to be a Little Blue Heron and his plumage reminded me of the Great Blue Heron. Even Google said he was a Great Blue Heron. Hope you like him.

Looks nothing like a Great Blue Heron to me. Great shot though. Surely a Tri-colored Heron?

Merlin Bird app says a tricolor heron. It doesnt look the right color scheme for a GBH or a Little Blue. Nice , sharp exposure and pose, whatever it is.
