Northern hawk-owl
During the 2019-2020 winter we were lucky to have two of these at bicycle distance,must have taken hundreds if not a thousand shots of the duo.

Wow. A superb capture of a beautiful and impressive bird. The exposure must have been a real challenge, with so much of the bird in shadow. And the focusing is spot on, with excellent detail (and at 1/1600 second too, which is slow for a bird in flight). Brilliant work Ove.
 
Great flight shot! I also would have taken thousands of photos of this great bird, it possible!
