Northern Cardinal, female

I have had ice for several days and now getting inches of snow. I wonder what happened to the top of this cardinal head?? Thanks for your help.

Certainly looks in rough shape and I hope she does okay through the cold and snow.

A beautiful colourful and well detailed close up capture Ella. Brilliant, well done.

She has her parker on for sure. She might have ice sickles on her head, Ella. Here it just rains and rains. I'm tired of it.
