Dragon Duck
Domestic muscovies are, shall we say, interesting-looking. Particularly around the face. This one was particularly striking, though. The black and red face made an impression.
I like to look at feral muscovies at parks. They all seem to be a unique mix-and-match of shapes and patterns. Like someone dumped equal parts "dark green wild-type bird" and "pure white domestic bird" into a cocktail shaker, shook it vigorously, and then poured the results into nearly every decent-sized body of water in the US.
Habitat
A public park with a fairly large pond.
Location
Old Settlers Park, in Central TX.

A cracking shot that. Love the sheen on its wings and the red bits on its head.
