First snow of the year

First snow of the year (Sturnus vulgaris)

The end of the first week in January brought our first snow fall and a decent amount too, as you can see.

Starlings had been rather in short supply for the previous few weeks, but they didn't forget where to get some grub when times got hard, did they!!

So, guess you're in for a few snowy shots from me now!

that's a wonderful capture, Delia, doesn't seem to be too impressed by that white stuff, a real beauty, congratulations, many tfs!!

Brilliant close-up and capture of this Starling with its bill open. Excellent focus, dof, colors, detail, and wintery setting. Fantastic D! TFS!
