I'm so envious of you seeing Dippers regularly! (I only ever managed to see them in Wales in 1990). This is a brilliant shot - it looked like it might have dragonflies or damselflies, but those would look larger (?) and your narrative solved the mystery. Very well done getting this shot before the bird had fed the insects to hungry mouths.
