Where's all the birds? (SF)
The view of my feeders at first light during that awful snowy period early February.

The seed tray is at the bottom of the picture on the pole, so covered with snow it just blends into the whole scene.

The snow was so deep I couldn't wear my shoes with the spikes on but had to put on my wellies. No grip, so consequently slid down the slope on my backside as I turned to leave.

You seem to have been hit hard with the snow this Winter D and this is a great illustration of all that snow.
I'm sure the birds are hungry and not happy girl.

A thoroughly novel idea for an image, Delia. I would have thought "no bird, no picture" but you've made a feature of absence (Samuel Beckett comes to mind ;)). And it's also a very good photograph, still pin sharp at full resolution, and the snow is exposed perfectly. Very nice work.
