House Sparrows (Passer domesticus) males. The females were on their nests refurbished from old Cliff Swallow nests while the males foraged and hung out together playing oneupmanship.
Habitat
Post Oak Savannah vegetational area. Cliff swallow colony under an overpass at 85 m (280 ft) elevation.
Location
Highway 6 bridge over Peach Creek Road College Station, Brazos County, Texas, USA.
