Starling braking to enter nesting cavity (Sturnus vulgaris)

Two nesting cavities at top of utility pole near my home, both occupied by European starlings. Had been noticing starlings flying toward the top of this pole as I was walking home from the park, wondered why I didn't see them on top of the pole as I got closer; finally realized they were flying into the pole.

Residential area south of downtown Seattle and across the street from a rather large public park.

Hoping it's permissible to share this as we're not actually seeing into a nest and it's high enough off the ground that one would need a ladder or a mechanical "cherry picker" (or some climbing gear) to actually disturb the parents and/or their chicks.
