The great wild goose chase 7 (Anser brachyrhynchus)

Our last two stops in Levanger were either side of the bay on the SW side of the paper factory. Here's one little smidgen of the view looking westwards. The light was tricky from there, though. We were looking towards the setting sun. So we very soon drove around to the other side, where you see a car parked by a cluster of trees. That car belonged to another birder. He was out there doing a registration project, recording the numbers on neck-banded geese. There were at least three species of geese present, but at this distance the only species I could confirm was Pink-footeds.

Nice geese these pink-foot too, aren't they. And that sure is impressive Ann.
