Juvenile Oystercatchers.
Two juvenile Oystercatchers trying to cross this thick algae covered lagoon to reach their parents they eventually made it to safety.

Nature Reserve.

Out on their own and nicely captured. Glad they were headed towards the parents. Kids still need a watchful eye on them ;)

I've not seen Oystercatchers in such deep water Donald. It seems deep enough for them to swim!!

Glad they managed across that algae safely.

I guess being youngsters they don't know they are not ducks but waders (lol). Great double of these two cuties. TFS Donald!
