A Pair of Peregrine Falcons.jpg (Falco peregrinus)

I caught this duo swirling around the cliffs near my home last night, one of them screaming as they soared and zoomed, chasing each other and seemingly having the time of their lives. It went on for maybe 10 minutes as roamed up, down and around the cliff, in and out of eyesight. I got this when both banked the right way to catch the setting sun right in front of a red rock backdrop.

A great double capture of these Peregrines Matt! They stand out well in front of those Clay Cliffs.

How exciting to be able to watch this action Matt..... and you've captured it beautifully too.

Very well done lad and thanks for showing it to us.

BTW our new system relies on the Tags (the luggage label) when searching the Gallery. So as well as entering the scientific name in the relevant field, it also needs to be entered as a Tag, along with the common name and location (country at least).

Any other information you want to add to the Tags for your own use would be a bonus! I hope you can help with this. It would be such a shame if your fabulous pictures didn't get returned in searches for people to look at.
